Hi

I have been reborning for about 18 months now and have sold 18 on E Bay (all under £130 plus p&p)I live in Norfolk and am married to Matt, an RSPB Warden, I have 2 sons from previous marriages aged 26 and 17. I love all aspects of reborning except the love/hate relationship I have with the computer...I am getting more used to it - but I do find it frustrating at times, still have worked out (with help) photo-bucket, E Bay , Emails and now Forums (hopefully!). Looking forward to joining in with this lively and interesting forum.

Hi Maggie, Cath, Sue
Nice to hear from you all. Do you post photos onto here from photo bucket? (Don't suppose there is a post anywhere on how to do that is there?). Some of my early ones were play dolls, then I progressed onto anything I could get 'cheap' on E bay like Boo-boos or collecting odd bits to make a complete doll - so not all 18 have been 'proper' reborn kits (but all excellent learning opportunities!). Have gone a bit mad recently on the Simply Reborn sale and so all nicely stocked up on kits for this year now.
I'm not that good at knitting(like you Maggie) but enjoy sewing making bits for their little layettes.

Hi Sue and Clare
Have lots of photos on photo bucket (because of listing with a template) so will have to have a go Sue...the step by step guide would be good though as I am a bit of a dunce as far as technology goes!
Meanwhile while I sort out that if you would like to see one of my most recent babies go to Cathy Rowland's Creative Impressions site and I have an entry in her Ming-na sculpt competition (now canceled for insufficient entries)...no 9....he is called Tashi(Tibetan for good luck)and I also have 2 on the bay at the mo..Eddy and Daisy....250589273517 and 250589234778.
Have you got a sculpt you are working on Clare or still collecting things to have a go?! My first one was a play-doll hubby got me of the Bay for £6.50 inc postage(didn't have my own account then!) ..,.it arrived wrapped in a black dustbin bag looking like a little somber Egyptian mummy. She became Ella and sold on E bay for £41.16 plus £16 postage- I was so sad to see her go but I needed to finance other projects. Anyway hope your reborning going well .

Hi Debs
Nice to see you here too!
My fiend at Apple Blossom nursery said this forum was really nice and had interesting posts so was worth giving a go!
(have started painting Demi as Sagira....Egyptian for little one - I asked hubby if he thought she looked Asian and he thought she looked a bit like that Egyptian boy pharaoh and when he said that I could see what he meant(....and should be lovely to create an outfit for)...how are you getting on with yours now?)
