hi, i have nearly finished my first reborn. He doesn't look to bad and as it was a play doll the detailing wasn't there that maybe would be on a kit doll.
can anyone suggest a knitting pattern or clothes which fit snuggly around the neck? i've bought a baby gro for a tiny baby but its still very big in the neck area, any help would be great

...you could try running thin hat elastic (its round not flat...but stronger than shirring elastic) around the neck, hidden in the top channel.

Thats a really good idea, at the moment it has a bonnet on with a big bow (hides a multitude)

...oh a big bow is a good way to hide things!...another thing I sometimes do (as I hate it when they have those envelope neck vests and when you pick them up the clothe body shows)...you can buy pairs of small adhesive rounds on the Bay that are velcro....one on the body and one on the inside of the vest and problem solved. The elastic tip is good round baggy arms and leg openings too.

The pads are a really good idea, i'll try that. I too hate it when you can see the body, a bib and a bow are great stop gaps but not perfect. I'll definatly give the pads a try. thanks x
