Hello all! :D

Hi my name is Stacey and I'm a 19 year old mum from South Wales.
I have just ordered my first reborn kit :-) and it's very exciting.
I first learnt about reborn after suffering a miscarriage in 2004 at 25 weeks and was looking for something to do in memory of my baby boy.
I absolutely love reborn dolls and I think they can be an amazing tool in someones life, whether it be a hobby, job or to mark a period or happening in someone's life.
I am obviously sad to have lost my little boy but considering my age at the time I honestly think thats the way it was meant to happen. I am glad I got to see him (which i opted to do) but I did not want any photos as I would of found them too painful to look at. Since that time I have been looking for something to keep in his memory and I think these are just perfect.
I have only now gathered the courage to give it a go and I know most people practice first with different techniques and making everything perfect which I think is good but I have decided my first reborn will be for my baby as he was my first in real life. I will just have to take my time with him and gather lots of information before hand and as I go a long. I have already been watching the instructional DVDs and I have been following your reborn experiences on here for about a month as a non-member.

Anyways thats me.
Sorry if I ranted on a bit.
Looking forward to getting to know you all! :-)
Stacey, Mummy to a beautiful little girl and hopefully soon to be a handsome reborn son! :-)

So sorry to hear about your mum Cathy. :(
A loss in a family or othwewise is never easy. But it's good to know there are forums like these with supportive members to help you through.
We all have our ways of coping it's just finding the one that works for you and I'm pretty sure creating my doll will be a way for me to rebirth my son and move on knowing he's always there for me to talk to and have a cuddle.
xx

Aww sweetie, your so right. Most of my work involves making memorial portrait dolls for girls
who have lost their baby. x
There have been scientific studies which have concluded that holding a reborn increases a
hormone in your body which makes you feel happier, positive and upbeat,
so you make your lovely doll and think about your lovely little boy sweetie.
xxx
There is a gods garden section in the members only section
where you are safe to write anything you want about your little boy,
it cant be viewed by the public, its closed to members only sweetie.xxx

Hugs and love
