Help with filling please!!!

Usually the original vinyl body is replaced with a soft stuffed and weighted body. What do you use in your bodies?

Help with filling please!!!

My Taffy (17") soon to be Tammy
I have done the rooting (thank god!!), glued and dried the inside of the head, now about to start filling.
How much of what do I put where?? (if that makes sense)
I've got the glass (sand looking stuff) for the arms and legs - not sure how much to put in!
Got the polly pellets for the head - not sure how much to put in and does that go in the body too??
I think (don't look so shocked, yes I can think!!) I know where the fluffy/baby fat stuff goes.
Any help please girls

The ultra fine glass (like sand) goes in the limbs, I fill up to the elbpws and up to the knees then top up with fibre fill and seal (I use pink felt circles). The body you put the fine glass granules (not the sand type) into a pop sock say about 2"-3", you can put what you like in as this determines the weight. Make a pouch of baby fat this is the same you can make it as big or little as you want. Surround it all in fibre fill so you cant feel the pouches. The head put some fibre fill in and then a pouch of the fine glass granules (same as body) again with the weight you want and top up with fibre fill making sure your pouch of glass doesn'r move about. If you have poly pellets you can use these in the body and the head instead of or as well as the glass. Poly pellets aren't very heavy so you won't get a good weight with them. I hope I have covered everything just shout if I missed owt. :-)

Thank you,
I got impatient waiting for a reply so I went and did it on my own. I have done what you have said with the arms, legs and head but the body I put the baby fat loose mixed with the fibre fill - didn't think it had the right feel but I'm still rather happy with her, at least I will know for next time. Thank you for your help anyway.
