spitt bubbles

Postby Cathy » Tue Sep 01, 2009 10:16 pm

I have been messing about trying to find the best or easiest way of doing these little spittle bubbles
and after trying different things i have found this works best for me,
mix a little glaze with a tiny drop of water in a small pot (ie cleaned out spice jar)
either use a craft needle with a 20 or 50ml syringe pump or a really thin straw (the thinner the better)
and either blow air into the glaze with the needle or the straw. dont stop until you have thick small bubbles and then
light big bubbles almost rising out of the jar.
position the doll, and either use a clean knife or a clean ice lolly stick and gently scoop the bubbles off
and gently drop them into the mouth.
i have found the knife or lolly stick works better than a brush, as it keeps the bubbles/ dont know why lol.x
let them drop dont smear them on or they just disappear.
leave to set over night and they are set for good.
hope that helps.
ill post some pics when i can get a moment spare. ;)

Cath, thank you for sharing, I'll give this a try. It's interesting how many ways there are to create these bubbles.

Lovely Caz was on RBUK the other day, showing us gorgoeus Michelles ebay listing,
Did you miss her?
What a shame, its always a pleasure to see Caz,
Her Michelle is what made me fall in love with the kit, he is fab.
Her auction for Michelle is on the ebay listings on here.
Hugs XXXX
