has anyone used the white blue tack stuff for dummies instead of magnets wounder if it effects paints on lips etc seen this tip some were else :?: :?: :?:

I have seen on here somewhere before about the white blue tac not sure where though!! I don't think it effects the paint but I'm sure I read that some of the white tac (thats the white stuff not blue :lol: ) stays on and has to be rubbed off quite hard with your finger.
If you have a look around the forum I'm sure you will find the right post or someone else will be along to tell you if I'm right or not.

FOUND IT
It is in Fine Details under Reborning - scroll down to non magnetic dummy, it's in there about the white tac (knew I had seen it before!!). :-)

I've made dummies with white tac before. It's different than blue tac as in it doesn't ruin paint, and won't leave a greasy stan like blue tac does.
If you don't want magnets - then this is the best to use xxx

Hey - greasy stan - think he was the guy who turned up to clean my gutters out :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: . But to be serious ladies - i used white blue tack on my "Kiersten" sculpt as paci on magnet wouldn't lie properly. Worked like a dream and didn't leave any marks at all. Only thing is it does go hard after some time and has to be replaced. Not a problem, but you need to tell the buyer about it. Happy sunny day all. sally xx

i have just got some and im nor keen on it at all i cant get the dummy to stay put so i have put a magnet in after all :cry: :cry:

i have used it but like ann cant get dummy to stay put,so i wont use it .plus it dosnt look right on the dummy, :cry: :cry: :cry:
