There are so many kitties waiting to be adopted from rescue homes ~ maybe get your auntie a kitty?

Hi Cathy, Yes there are and my aunt does a lot for them. Though she told me that she doesn't want any more cats. She has a dog, but all the cats that she has had, have come to her after being misstreated, homeless strays and so on.
All the cats have made their own way to her back garden and like Louis, been given some place to live. Over the years since I was little, she had 1 cat come a live with her, lol his name was Puddy and he just showd up one day and made himself at home and lived their for the rest of hs life.
My aunt looked after a neighbours cats when they simply abandoned them. They were nasty people to the point that one of their cats that my aunt looked after and eventually took to the cat protection league. She'd been having litters of kittens since she matured enough and many were rehomed by my aunt, though one a number of times she gave birth to sill born kittens because she'd had too many, one lot after another! This was why my aunt stepped in. The cat gave birth with the help of my aunt and myself to a litter of 3 that were all still born and we took the cat to her "home" and they'd LOCKED her in their tree house with the dead kittens! No food or water. One of their children accidentally left the door unlocked and she got out and brought all the dead kittens back to my aunts! The kittens had been dead for 2 weeks by this point!
At one point my aunt was feeding 10 cats and couldn't afford to do that anymore, so the cats went to the cat protection league and all were kept by the people taking them in. hehe
After the others were rehomed, my aunt said no more but then Louis arrived and well he stayed until last wednesday when he died. My aunt doesn't want anymore now, as she had Louie for about 12 to 14 years.
It's just strannge that Louis isn't there anymore, even the dog is missing him!
