So if you are insulin resistant you have to avoid sugar and fake sugar... so low fat foods don't really do anything for you.
I'm not diabetic but the only diet I have found is one that is Low GI and the best way to stick to low GI is to follow a diabetic diet.
I can't do Atkins which would be the ideal way to go being insulin resistant because that is high fat and without a gall bladder that is hard to digest and quite uncomfortable.
